Home link on the top leads you to a consolidated page of multiple searches and features, i.e., Reminders, message a user, find a project by Job No, and find an inquiry multiple searches.

New Inquiries

Inquiries are split into Leads and Inquiries. Leads are positive inquiries which you are expected to convert for business. All inquiries / leads can be accessed by clicking on the Inquiries / Leads link on main menu. Each record has Customer Contact Sheet (CTS) as well.

Customer Contact Sheet (CTS)

Customer contact sheet is the sheet you fill each time you contact customer, this can be accessed by Project list page and clicking on CTS link on each record.

Adding Projects

To view all projects, you need to click on the Projects link on the top. To add a project, click on the [New Project] link on top right of the project page. This will open a new window with data entry form. You need to fill appropriate fields and click on the [save] or [submit] button below.

After the record is added, project page will refresh and the latest record will be shown on the top order of all the records. You will see series of links on right hand side column of the record with heading Action, i,e., Edit / View / Details / CTS. Click on Details there and a page will open with details related to the project.

Project details will have following additional features;

1) Project Summary 2) People Involved 3) Reference Projects & documents 4) Predecessor Chart 5) Schedule Chart 6) Cost Analysis

Also this page contains list of child records related to project i.e.,

4) Tasks

No of tasks involved in this project.

5) Schedule

Schedule related to each task, i.e., work done on daily basis. This can be viewed task wise by clicking on [Schedule] link in action list of each task and all by clicking on [Schedule] link just above the [New Task] link.

6) Material

Material ordered for each task and overall. This can be viewed task wise by clicking on [Schedule] link in action list of each task and all by clicking on [Schedule] link just above the [New Task] link.

7) Alert

There would be an extra button below list of tasks, i.e., [ Set Alert ]. This would allow you to set alert for any change in the status of the task. All alerts set by the current users can be viewed by clicking on Main Menu (Top) and Alerts[11]. This also will come as an email to you if your email has been added in the Resource database.

Creating logins & user accounts to the system

In project tracking system, two kind of users can login, 1) Resources 2) Clients. to create login for resources you need to have administrative right. You can click on [Resources] / [Client] link on top bar or in Masters and add new records there with login name and password. The access rights to users are of three type [Resource] / [Executive / Managers] and [Administrator].
